Police officers from the Narcotics Division of the Organized Crime Directorate arrested a 57-year-old foreign national on Friday morning, June 12, in an area of Athens, a 57-year-old foreign national accused of drug possession and trafficking.
Charges were filed against him for violating drug and immigration laws, as it was determined that he lacked the legal documents required for his stay in the country.
As noted in the Hellenic Police announcement, this was preceded by the proper utilization of intelligence, and following police operations, verifications, cross-checking of data, and profiling, his criminal activity in drug trafficking in an area of Athens was confirmed.
