Stavros Floros announced in a post on his personal Instagram account that he underwent surgery that resulted in a complication, specifically internal bleeding, resulting in the need for a second, emergency surgery.
As he mentioned in a video he posted on social media, the past week has been the most difficult of his recovery so far.
“Hello, everyone. I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. I honestly thought that by now the issue would have been forgotten, but I keep receiving messages asking about my health, and I thank you all so much for your concern and support.
I hadn’t posted a video because I went through the most difficult week of my recovery so far, with unbearable pain. The initial surgery resulted in a serious complication—internal bleeding—so I had to undergo a second, emergency operation.
My mental state was at a very low point, but with God’s help, the support of my family, and your messages, I found the strength to carry on. The road to recovery is demanding, but I’m trying to take it one step at a time.
My doctors remain optimistic, and everything seems to be progressing smoothly for now. “I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I’ll do my best to keep you updated on my progress,” said Stavros Floros.
In the caption of his post, he noted: “It’s been a month since everything changed… The most difficult and painful week of my recovery. My pillars of strength are God, the Virgin Mary, my family, and of course all of you, who refuse to let this situation be forgotten and show such great concern. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything.”
