Joys Evidi appeared as a guest on the show “Happy Day” on the morning of Tuesday, June 16, where she spoke about her daily life, her relationship with her pets, the habits she finds hard to change, and her recent statement about morning shows, which sparked some discussion.
The beloved actress, who is currently starring in the play “We Lost Our Aunt, Stop,” described her daily life as a demanding process, as she cares for many animals and plants.
“My home is a full-time job in itself. I have cats, dogs, and lots of plants that need constant care. It’s never spotless, and when I manage to tidy it up, it only stays that way for a quarter of an hour,” she said characteristically.
Speaking about her pets, she revealed that both of her dogs were adopted after being abused. “Rescued animals never forget what they’ve been through,” she noted.
As for summer vacations, Joyce Evidi explained that she doesn’t plan to travel this year, as she now prefers the comfort and tranquility of her home. With her characteristic sense of humor, she described the hassles that accompanied her vacations in previous years, emphasizing that she enjoys her daily life in her own space much more.
Elsewhere in the interview, she admitted that she isn’t particularly fond of the beauty routines that many women follow. As she said, she doesn’t like frequent visits to the hair salon or wearing makeup, and she revealed that she’s perfectly comfortable with herself and has become more introverted over the years.
At the same time, she emphasized that she copes with the difficulties of everyday life through conversations with her friends, without seeing a therapist, though she acknowledged that difficult thoughts and periods of psychological stress are a part of everyone’s life.
The discussion concluded with host Stamatina Tsimtsili asking her to clarify the statements she had recently made about morning shows. The actress clarified that her words had been misinterpreted, explaining that her main wish is for more comedy series to return to Greek television.
“What I said was that I want comedy series. That’s what I miss on TV,” she said, adding with a touch of humor that she watches almost everything on TV, proving that she remains an avid TV viewer.
