Nikos Androulakis sent an invitation to the Presidents of SYRIZA and the New Left to participate in a thematic dialogue table on “Constitution and Institutions”.
The dialogue will take place alongside the proceedings of the 4th PASOK Ordinary Congress.
The invitation apparently concerns Socrates Famellos and Alexis Charitsis, but developments are underway with the latter, as his departure from the party is expected to be formally announced next week.
“At a time when the institutions and the functioning of the democratic constitution are being tested by the practices and methods of the New Democracy government, which we have all highlighted and condemned, we consider it particularly important for the progressive forces to contribute to a substantial and constructive debate on shielding the institutions. Your presence and participation will contribute decisively to the emergence and formulation of proposals for the strengthening of the quality of democracy and the rule of law,” said Nikos Androulakis.
The debate will take place on Saturday 28 March at 11:00, at the Faliro Indoor Gymnasium (tae kwon do).
