The arrest of three men, aged 22, 23 and 29 and a 24-year-old woman, members of a gang involved in drug trafficking, were arrested by police officers of the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes of Oraiokastro, after an investigation in the framework of information exploitation.
Accordingly, a case file was formed against the arrested persons and another 26-year-old domestic woman, for the offences of criminal organization-corporation and for violation of the laws on addictive substances, weapons and personal data.
As it emerged from the preliminary investigation, the 26-year-old, at least since November 2025, had been obtaining drugs from the 22-year-old and the 29-year-old, both for her personal use and for trafficking and further trafficking.
As part of a coordinated operation carried out by police officers yesterday, Friday, June 5, at dawn, with the assistance of their colleagues from the Department of Crime Prevention and Suppression, investigations were carried out, in the presence of a representative of the judicial authority, at the homes of the perpetrators in Toumba, Neochoruda and Dendropotamos, during which they found and seized a quantity of cocaine in two nylon packages, 1 kilogram and 834.85 grams of raw cannabis divided into packages, 2.260 euros, precision scales, a cannabis grinder, two folding batons, a knife, two mobile phones and two security cameras installed outside a house.
Also, an IX car, owned by the 29-year-old, was seized as a means of transporting drugs. The arrested persons, with the case file formed against them, will be taken to the relevant prosecutor.
