Giorgos Lianos gave his own response to the comments that have been made recently about Stavros Floros and his serious injury on “Survivor”.
The presenter, through the radio show he presents on Sfera 102.2 along with Grigoris Arnaoutoglou, Nancy Antoniou and Panagi Tzortzatos, wanted to clarify his stance on the issue. His statements were aired on Friday (05.06.2026) by the show “To Porino”.
Giorgos Lianos stressed that he does not consider himself responsible for informing the public about the health of the young player, underlining that this is the responsibility of his family and his relatives. At the same time, he expressed his annoyance at the way some media outlets handle such issues, urging them not to operate in a social media logic.
He also referred to the criticism he received for calling Stavros Floros a “winner” during the last board of the game. He said he thought the focus on a single word was too much, noting that the essence was in the human dimension of the case and not in verbal details.
The presenter also argued that those who are truly by Stavros’ side are his people and not those who comment on the case from a distance, and called on the media to turn their attention to more substantive issues.
He concluded by describing the incident as a particularly unpleasant experience for all those involved in the programme, stressing that above all, humanity must prevail and calling for an end to comments and personal attacks surrounding the case.
