This Thursday morning, there was an awkward moment on the set of Super Katerina, as Katerina Kainourgiou had guest Ina Tarantou and the conversation turned to her personal life.
The presenter, wanting to refer to the journalist’s marriage, asked her, “Have you been with your husband all these years?” “My husband has been away for the last few years, he is abroad…” the journalist said.
Immediately the presenter tried to clarify what she meant by her question, realising the awkwardness that had been created. “I mean you’re not divorced… I’m sorry, I don’t know. It doesn’t matter. I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” she said.
Ina Tarantu coolly dealt with the moment and explained the current relationship she has with her ex-husband.
“No, it’s fine. We’ve separated as a couple but we’re together as a family. I respect him, I appreciate him, he’s a role model of a man even though he’s been tested a lot. There is this invisible bond that binds families together whether they are separated or not,” she replied.
