A 41-year-old man was arrested today in Kalamata, accused of killing his 39-year-old wife in their home.
Specifically, according to police, following complaints, officers went to the home of the assailant and the victim, where they found the 39-year-old unconscious woman suffering from knife wounds.
At the same time, the 41-year-old man was in the house, who was brought to the Messinia police station and there, according to the police, he confessed to the act and was arrested.
The arrested man, against whom a case has been filed for intentional homicide, domestic violence and weapons offences, will be brought to the prosecutor of Messinia, while police officers of the sub-directorate for the prosecution and investigation of crimes in Kalamata, continue investigations to investigate the exact circumstances of the homicide.
