Archbishop Elpidoforos, the Archbishop of America, felt ill on Sunday morning during the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Aretsos, Thessaloniki.
An official of the ambulance service told APPE-MPA that the ambulance was called to the scene where it picked up Archbishop Elpidophoros of America after a fainting episode and transported him to the 424 Military Hospital for pre-hospital examinations.
According to reports, the Archbishop is in good health.
