Alexandros Tsouvelas commented on “Proino” on Friday 29 May on the presence of Akilas in Eurovision, expressing a positive opinion of his effort, although he made it clear that he would not prefer him to a traditional festival in his village. At the same time, he said he particularly liked Dara’s winning entry with Bulgaria.
In particular, he said the Greek representative did very well, stressing that he gave energy and tried his best on stage. He said that he considers Eurovision a great celebration of music, where each artist presents what expresses him or her the most. However, he explained that at a festival he would prefer to listen to traditional songs with chamika and clarinets, as he believes that each type of music suits its own environment and audience.
