The Hellenic Cadastre has announced the achievement of another important milestone, as 99% of the country now has posted cadastral data and a National Cadastral Code Number (NCRN).
The development marks the entry of the project into its final phase of completion, after decades of delays and pending issues.
According to the announcement, since 2019 to date, the cadastral registration and posting processes have been significantly accelerated through:
- Service registration,
- legislative interventions,
- better monitoring of contracts,
- and simplify procedures for citizens and professionals.
What the suspension means for citizens
The posting is considered one of the most crucial stages of the process, as citizens can now see all the data related to their real estate in an aggregated form and check for any errors or omissions.
