A domestic tragedy occurred Monday night in Holargos where a 57-year-old man shot his 53-year-old wife and then killed himself.
Specifically, according to the ELAS, the incident occurred at around 23:00 at night in a 3rd floor apartment, located on Xanthipou Street, when under unknown circumstances, the 57-year-old shot his wife in the leg and then allegedly shot himself in the head.
Police arrived at the scene after receiving a call from the 53-year-old woman, who was rushed to C. Gennimatas” where she is being treated.
During their search of the apartment, police officers found the 57-year-old dead and a gun next to him.
