During MEGA’s main newscast on Friday night (22/5), the discussion turned to Maria Karystianou’s new political project, in response to comments made on air.
In the report, Antonis Giokas referred to the presence of Katerina Moutsatsou at a related event, noting that she was presented as a “surprise” by the organisers, but clarifying that she was an actress and singer and not a presenter, adding that there may have been confusion over her characterisation.
Then Yannis Pretenderis commented on the report in a mocking manner, saying that “it could have been sent to the presenters, but in the end the opportunity was lost, since Moutsatsou already went there.” Katerina Panagopoulou reacted, asking which political party she was referring to and clarifying that she herself would not join that party, also raising the question of whether active politicians would join the new group.
