Showers and thunderstorms in several areas today – Attica is in the centre of it

The weather will be unsettled today, Friday, in many parts of the country, with showers and thunderstorms in Attica and Thessaloniki, while the temperature will not reach 26 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, today, Friday, May 22, in the northeastern mainland and the northern Aegean, there will be clouds with local rain or rain and mainly in the midday and afternoon hours sporadic thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will see a few clouds, which will increase from mid-morning, initially in the mainland and Crete and gradually in the Cyclades and the Dodecanese, when local rain and occasional thunderstorms will occur.

Winds will blow from the north at 3 to 5 Beaufort and in the northern Ionian Sea at times 6 Beaufort.

The temperature will not change significantly and will reach 23 to 25 degrees Celsius and locally in the eastern mainland 26 degrees Celsius.
