According to local website kozanimedia, a man’s body was found in the mountain area above Platanoreuma Kozani.
It is believed to belong to a 78-year-old man who had disappeared from his village on May 6, 2026. More specifically, the 78-year-old disappeared from his home in Platanoreyma in Servia Kozani on the morning of that day. His family immediately informed the authorities, while the Life Line activated the Silver Alert Social Alarm the next day.
The Social Alert System was activated on the same day and the Alert Alert Service was activated on the same day.
So far there is no official confirmation that the body belongs to the 78-year-old. Identification from the forensic examination is awaited.
