A foreign man was arrested in an area of Thessaloniki by officers of the Pella Crime Investigation and Detection Department, accused of drug trafficking.
As noted in today’s police statement, the arrest took place yesterday after coordinated police actions, during which the man was found and in his possession was found a package of raw cannabis weighing 132 grams, as well as a mobile phone and a sum of money 20 euros.
In a subsequent search of his home, police officers located and seized an additional 17.4 grams of cocaine, as well as four packages of raw cannabis weighing a total of 434 grams.
At the same time, they seized the sum of €2,650 in cash, two precision electronic scales and a two-wheeled motorcycle, which was allegedly used to facilitate his illegal activity. The arrested man will be taken to the Prosecutor of Thessaloniki, while a case file was formed against him.
