A house that operated without a license as a sports team fans’ association was detected by the Sub-Directorate for Combating Organized Sports Violence of the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, during an operation carried out on Thursday, May 14, in an area of Athens.

According to the Greek police, a case was filed against the landlord of the building, as he had installed a video surveillance system with security cameras and a recording machine, which recorded pedestrian movement outside the building, in violation of personal data legislation.
As the police investigation revealed, the premises had been operating as a supporters’ association office since at least October 2024, without the required permits.
During the search, which was carried out in the presence of a judicial officer, 55 spray paint vials, stickers and magnets with fan content, three image recording cameras and a recording machine were found and seized.
At the same time, officers of the local police station proceeded to seal the area, while the case file will be submitted to the relevant prosecution authority.
