A young Bulgarian couple, who were traced to Rhodes and arrested yesterday, Thursday, May 14, will face justice, accused of successive thefts and attempted burglaries from shops on the island.
According to police, the men are a 26-year-old woman and her 26-year-old boyfriend, who are accused of breaking into five shops over the past month, taking money and tobacco products from them with a total estimated value of more than €1,400. In addition, during the same period they attempted to break into three more businesses.
The arrest of the two foreigners was made by police officers of the Sub-Directorate for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes of Rhodes and a case file was formed against them for the formation of a gang and the commission of aggravated theft, with which they were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office of Rhodes for further proceedings.
