For the second time in a short period of time, the bust of the murdered policeman George Liggeridis, who was killed in Rentis, located at the junction of Egnatia and Ethnikis Aminis streets in the centre of Thessaloniki, has been vandalised by unknown persons.

The unknown assailants spray-painted the letter A on the bust, which they placed inside a circle. It should be noted that similar vandalism with black paint was also caused in late April.

The bust is located in the park named after George Liggeridis, in the square of Sidrivanios, and its unveiling was held last October, in the presence of the President of the Republic. The relevant bodies have already been informed about the restoration of the damage.
