A special machine will now go out daily on the streets of the municipality of Thessaloniki for the immediate restoration of potholes in the pavement, which are one of the main complaints of citizens as they pose risks for car and two-wheeler drivers.
The special vehicle has already begun to “seal” the damage on Vass. Olga Street, while in the coming days it will carry out interventions on other main roads of Thessaloniki, such as – for example – the roads: Egnatia, Nikis Avenue, Mitropoleos, 3rd September, Gregory Lambraki, Papafi etc.
“With modern technology it cleans, fills and seals the wear in minutes. With greater safety and with much less disruption to traffic,” said Thessaloniki Mayor Stelios Angeloudis.
“The effort for the public space does not stop here,” the mayor noted, noting that in a few weeks “the large asphalt paving program of the municipality of Thessaloniki will begin with interventions that will be developed simultaneously in all six Municipal Communities of the city.”
