The last bell will ring today, Friday, for high schools across the country as promotional and final exams begin next week.
More specifically, the promotional examinations for the first and second cycle of high school will be conducted from next Monday, May 18, 2026 to Friday, June 12, 2026. June 19 has been set as the closing date for the release of results.
As for students of the 3rd grade, the final examinations (also called “intramural”) will also be held from next Monday, May 18, 2026, but until Monday, May 25, 2026, as the Panhellenic Examinations will then be held. The cut-off date for issuing results for the matriculation examinations is May 27, 2026.
