A 54-year-old woman was arrested at dawn in a suburb of Corfu for attempted murder and for breaches of the legislation on domestic violence and weapons.
In particular, in the early hours of the morning, the Operations Center of the Corfu Police Directorate was informed of an injury to a 57-year-old man, following an incident that occurred in an area peripheral to the city of the island.
Instantly to the point went police officers of the Prevention and Mediation Team, who in the context of investigating the incident found that the 54-year-old woman had injured with a sharp object the 57-year-old partner. A knife was found and seized during the investigation.
The arrested woman will be led to the prosecutor of Corfu.
