New evidence is brought to light by the testimonies of local residents about the fall of two 17-year-old girls from the roof of an apartment building in Heliopolis.

According to a neighbor, who spoke to Orange Press Agency, the two girls asked the manager for the keys to the roof: “My friend tells her ‘where the keys are, where we put them’. She didn’t have time to take five steps and she hears the bang, the kids fell off the roof!”

“Where could she imagine now why and what they wanted the keys for. […] She could not have imagined this tragic event,” he pointed out.

At around twelve, a local resident described the moments that followed the fall of the two minors: “Around twelve o’clock there was a long exclamation, an ‘ahh’ and a very loud bang. And turning my head I see two girls.”

And then the girl’s brother came down, who fortunately was the girl who was breathing.”

As he notes, people at the scene were trying to talk to them until the ambulance arrived, “to keep an eye out.” Despite her severe injuries, one girl was able to communicate with the surroundings.
