A 70-year-old Austrian tourist was found injured in a rugged area between the villages of Dikoryfo and Kipi of Zagori, by men of the Ioannina Fire Brigade, who for an unknown reason lost control of the motorcycle he was driving, resulting in a prunes.
The motorcyclist, together with a group of 12 Austrians, made a motorcycle excursion in the Zagori area. As soon as the accident happened at 6 pm, his friends called for help. Immediately a rescue operation was launched involving 27 men from the 2nd Fire Station of Ioannina, the 5th EMAK and the 5th EMODE alongside the ELAS and the ambulance.
Little before 20:00, the Austrian was approached by firefighters and an ambulance doctor to administer first aid.
