This Monday morning, a 55-year-old man died in a road accident in Kos, as the car he was driving veered off course and hit a tree.
The accident happened shortly after 08:00, in the Psalidi area of Kos.
Men from the Kos Fire Service rushed to the scene and attempted to extricate the unfortunate man from the vehicle.
He was then transported dead by ambulance to the Kos Hospital, according to RODIAKI.
The exact causes of the accident and the circumstances, resulting in the fatal injury of the driver, are being investigated by the competent authorities.
