Two dinghies carrying around 97 foreigners were spotted in sea areas south of Crete. In one case, the Coast Guard vessel located the dinghy in a sea area 33 nautical miles south of Ierapetra, while in the second case the dinghy was located 45 nautical miles southeast of Kalia Limeni. After the rescue operation was completed, the 43 people were transferred to Kalou Limenes, while the rest were taken to Ierapetra.
