Israeli Defense Minister Israel Kats announced the “elimination” of Ali Larijani, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, and General Golamreza Soleimani, commander of the Basij militia, in targeted attacks by the Israeli army overnight in Tehran.
“The Chief of General Staff has just informed me that Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, and Soleimani, head of Basij – Iran’s central repressive apparatus – were eliminated last night,” the Israeli Defense Minister said in a video-taped month.
