According to forensic findings, the death of a 73-year-old man, whose body was found yesterday at 10 am in the yard of his house in the village of Kato Agios Ioannis in Pieria, is attributed to a criminal act.
According to reports, the forensic investigation found craniocerebral injuries, as well as injuries to the ribs – wounds estimated to have been inflicted 12 to 24 hours before his death.
The lifeless body was spotted by a neighbour who informed the ambulance and subsequently the police authorities were alerted. The investigation of the case is being carried out by the Department for the Prosecution and Detection of Crimes of Katerini.
