Alexandros Tsouvelas spoke to Buongiorno’s camera about the renewal of his partnership with bwinSPOR FM and SKY, his summer tour and his belief that Akylas can win Eurovision 2026.
“With bwinSPOR FM we have renewed for another two years. With SKY it’s all formal, we’re moving on. It’s a period of renewal and caution in moving and Capricorns in the first ten days.”
The renowned comedian was particularly keen on the response he is getting in Cyprus ahead of his tour: “It is unthinkable what is happening in Cyprus. 3,000 tickets leave in 70 hours. I remember what it was like when I was playing with 10 and 20 people and I’m glad that now hundreds of people are coming, but life goes round in circles and I might be playing again with 50, with 80, with 100 people.”
She made a special reference to Akyla and Greece’s participation in Eurovision 2026. “I have said that it will win. I believed it from the first moment I heard the song. I have written him “Good luck” and he hasn’t replied. Aren’t you ashamed, Dog?” he commented with a laugh.
Finally, he did not rule out the possibility of getting involved with the public in the future, but clarified that he does not intend to accept any specific offer at this time: “I’ve said before, we all need to be involved in the commons. We should not leave it to other people all the time and say ‘Oh, we’re ruined’. Let’s move a little bit, so to speak. I’m not going to accept anything.”
