An incident, with fan motives and the involvement of minors, occurred last Sunday afternoon in Chalkidona, Thessaloniki, after the end of an amateur football match for the championship of the Eps Macedonia, between Anagenis Chalkidona and Ethnikos Malgaron.

Police say a group of youths attacked, outside the stadium, four minors, aged 16 and 17. The perpetrators allegedly used physical violence, causing injuries to the victims. The minors were initially taken to a local health centre and then to a hospital in Thessaloniki, where they were provided with medical care and underwent the necessary medical examinations.

The investigation by the Chalkidonos Crime Investigation and Detection Department led to the identification of one of the alleged perpetrators. It is a 17-year-old boy, against whom a case was filed, while a case for neglect of supervision of a minor was also filed against his guardian.

Authorities are continuing investigations to identify the other persons involved.
