The Minister for Immigration and Asylum has instructed that consideration be given to removing the legal status of foreign nationals charged with criminal offences.
As Ministry sources note, the services are being asked to consider revoking the legality of the 27-year-old man of Egyptian origin who is accused of making lewd gestures against four minors in Symi, as well as the Pakistani delivery man who threw stones and injured passers-by in Kifissia.
The procedure concerns either residence permits or international protection status, as appropriate and in accordance with the law.
