Limnos will now be connected by steam boat to Turkey, specifically to the port of Chanakale. This important news for tourism on the frontier island was made known today with a post on Social Media by the prefect of Lemnos Apostolos Koutsogiannis who said:

“Lemnos has been added to the booking engine! As of yesterday, Lemnos is now available in the company’s booking engine, marking the start of the new ferry connection with Turkey!”

The trip will have a duration of 2.5 hours.
