The arrest of three young women, aged 23 and 25, was made on the evening of 25 April by police officers of the DIAS and OPKE teams, following an attack with sledgehammers and paint at the Athens Administrative Court of Appeal.

A case was filed against them for damage to property of others, unlawful joint violence and refusal to fingerprint. Authorities are continuing to investigate to identify possible accomplices.

The attack occurred when a group of masked individuals damaged the front of the building using sledgehammers, a fire extinguisher and cans of red paint. After police were immediately mobilized, the three suspects were located near the scene and arrested.

A bag they had allegedly thrown away was found nearby, which contained clothing and items used to conceal their features.

They were then searched at their homes, where sledgehammers, gas masks, paint, electronic devices and handwritten notes, among other items, were seized.

The arrested women were taken to the prosecutor’s office, and while in custody they refused to submit to the fingerprinting procedure.
