Poseidon Giannopoulos was a guest on the set of the show “Saturday Para” today, giving an interview with Katerina Karavatou.
The well-known radio producer spoke, among other things, about the deep relationship he had with his mother, making a particularly moving confession that touched the presenter.
“When she had her first heart attack and was in intensive care, all she had asked for was a walkman with headphones so she could listen. In those days, while she was in hospital, I carried on with my radio show as normal, trying to convey a sense of calm, as if nothing was happening,” she said.
Then he added: “The relationship with the mother is a unique thing. I know that you have experienced a similar loss and in close proximity. I was always afraid of losing her. When she finally ‘faded away’ in front of me, I found the strength to endure, perhaps because I had taken full care of her for the last few years of her life.”
