The deadline for applications for the 2026 DYPA Social Tourism Programme is Sunday 3 May.
The programme, with a total budget of €50 million, involves 300,000 cheques and this year has an increased duration of 13 months, starting on 18 May. Beneficiaries can spend up to 6 nights in accommodation participating in the “Register of Providers” of the DYPA, on request and with a small private contribution.
Who are the beneficiaries
Eligible to participate:
- Employees with a dependent employment relationship under private law
- Insured in e-EFKA with unemployment contributions of the DYPA, at any time during the 12 months before the deadline
- Unemployed persons registered in the digital register of the CIFA, with at least 3 months of continuous unemployment up to the deadline
Economic criteria
Applicants must have an annual income of up to:
- €16,000 for unmarried persons
- EUR 24 000 for married couples, plus EUR 5 000 for each child
- 29,000 euros for single-parent families, plus 5,000 euros for each child after the first

Where more free nights are given
In some areas, increased benefits are expected:
- Up to 10 free nights (without private participation) in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, Samos and Rhodes
- Up to 12 free nights in municipalities of Northern Evia, Evros and Thessaly (except Sporades)
In addition, subsidy rates are increased by 20% in August, as well as during the Christmas (15 December 2026 – 14 January 2027) and Easter (23 April 2027 – 9 May 2027) periods.
Deadline for providers
The deadline for businesses wishing to participate in the program is now looming. Tourist accommodation and ferry companies can apply until 10 May.
Providers who participated in the previous programme are automatically included, provided they update their documentation.
