Katerina Papoutsaki was a guest on “Proino” today and spoke to Giorgos Liagas about her participation in YFSF, but also about the reality experienced by actors in Greece.

As she first mentioned, actors do not live a glamorous life, stressing that their work is very demanding and often exhausting.

He then described their daily routine, saying they start early in the morning and work long hours in difficult conditions, in spaces that are not always the best. Filming is continuous and demanding, with no special breaks.

At the same time, he noted, they are required to maintain an “image”, to appear well-groomed in broadcasts and at the same time participate in theatrical performances, where conditions are also demanding.

In closing, he wondered exactly where the “glamour” in all this lies, wanting to point out the great distance between the image that exists to the outside world and the reality of the profession.
