An alarm was raised this morning in Thessaloniki due to a violent collision between a truck and a car at the traffic light of Anchialou on the old Thessaloniki-Giannitsa highway.
Specifically, the 45-year-old driver was trapped inside her vehicle and needed the intervention of the fire brigade to get out.
Two fire department vehicles with five firefighters operated at the scene of the collision and extricated the woman using a rescue line.
The 45-year-old woman was immediately evacuated, conscious, to an on-call hospital in Thessaloniki.
