A serious shooting incident occurred at the EFKA in Kerameikos, causing an alarm to the authorities.
According to initial reports, an 89-year-old man stormed the building located at 4 Keiriadon Street, climbed to the fourth floor and fired a shotgun, wounding an employee in the leg.
Strong police forces and an ambulance of the ambulance service were immediately dispatched to the scene in order to provide first aid to the injured man.
The same reports say that the assailant, who is reportedly a radio collector, fled the scene and is being sought by the authorities. At the same time, it is believed that he may be facing psychological problems.
Some time later, according to newer reports, the same man allegedly went to Lukareos, where he shot two more people, who were injured.
Authorities are fully mobilized to locate and arrest the man, while an investigation into the exact cause and circumstances of the attacks is ongoing.
