Minister of Economy and Finance and President of the Eurogroup Kyriakos Pierrakakis is travelling to Paris today to participate as a keynote speaker at the 14th annual Euronext conference entitled “Strengthening European Capital Markets Now”.
This afternoon, Mr. Pierrakakis will meet with his French counterpart Roland Lescure.
Tomorrow, the Minister is scheduled to meet with the head of the International Energy Agency, Fatih Birol. The discussion is expected to focus on developments in international energy markets, the challenges posed by the crisis in the Middle East and the economic impact of the crisis in the eurozone.
