A serious traffic accident occurred in Corfu and more specifically on the highway Corfu – Paleokastritsa, at the height of Gouvia.
More sadly, according to kerkyrasimera.gr, a car lured two tourists, a mother and son, aged 63 and 32 respectively, who attempted to cross to the opposite side of the road.
The ambulance rushed to the scene and transported the two injured in serious condition to Corfu General Hospital.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested, while a preliminary investigation is underway for the exact causes of the accident.
