More specifically, the Prime Minister’s wife spoke highly of the hospital’s staff, whom she thanked for the attention they paid to her health problem.

“A serious health adventure kept me for several days in ”Evangelism”. And there I found out personally what I often heard from many of our fellow citizens about the professionalism and dedication of the people of the NHS.
A big thank you, then, to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the hospital! Not only because they helped me. But because, observing them for a whole twenty-four hours, I saw what knowledge, solidarity and humanity mean.
When we feel helpless, they are the first persons who come close to us. They heal our wounds and fears with genuine concern. And they don’t just take care of us with medicine. But also many smiles, holding our hand.
This is the power of the NHS. A strength for each and every one of us.
