A serious incident of violence occurred on Saturday afternoon in Pagrati, with a 22-year-old woman being attacked while trying to park her car.
According to reports, a motorbike driver reacted aggressively because she was slowing down to pass, starting to swear at her. Tension escalated, with the man proceeding to manhandle her, pushing her and throwing her to the ground.
The 22-year-old was seriously injured in the fall, suffering a fractured leg and was taken to hospital for treatment.
After the incident, the offender reportedly fled and entered an apartment building in the area.
Residents’ accounts speak of scenes of tension and shock. According to an eyewitness, the young woman was in a bad state, crying profusely, and police remained in the area for several hours conducting searches.
The 22-year-old woman filed a complaint after she was discharged from the hospital. Through the investigation, the vehicle involved in the incident was identified and, following tips, the victim identified the brother of the owner of the motorcycle as the perpetrator.
A case was filed against him, however, he could not be arrested within the time limits of the autopsy.
