Alexandros Bourdoumis was a guest of Katerina Karavatou and the show “Samekiriako Parea” on Sunday morning 26/4. During the interview, the presenter referred to a particularly difficult moment they had shared in the past, when she had visited him in the dressing room shortly after she had learned about the loss of his brother.
“You may not remember it, but we’ve had a very intense time together. I had come to see you at the theatre in Crete and found you in the dressing room. You were both happy and frozen at the same time,” he said.
Then he added: “You said ‘wait, I just lost my brother’. I never forgot it. I was surprised that on stage nothing showed, even though your grief was evident when you shared it with me.”
Alexander Bourdumis replied, “It had only been a few hours since I found out and I had to go on stage. I am neither the first nor the last actor to have experienced this. I remember how upset all my colleagues were – Renia Louizidou, Stelios Mainas, Karyophyllia Karampeti. It was an excellent company and everyone was overwhelmed.”
