A tragedy unfolded at noon on Sunday, April 26, 2026 in Arcadia, when a man died after a tractor overturned.
The unfortunate man, who was working as a rescuer at EKAB, was at the time doing agricultural work on farms in Partheni, Arcadia. Under unclear circumstances, the tractor he was driving overturned, crushing him.
Police forces immediately rushed to the scene, while his colleagues from the ambulance attempted to revive him, without success. The man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
