The moment the script for the series “Two Days Only” was born was revealed by Christoforos Papakaliatis.

Specifically, he spoke on the vidcast “Johnny@TheMovies” where he noted that the script for the series was inspired two days before he joined the army at the moment he was drunkenly enjoying his performance by Dimitra Galani.

“I thought of “Two Days Only” when one night, frustrated, spitting, in a tragic state, I had gone to hear Dimitra Galani, who was performing with Protopsaltis at the time. And all of a sudden, Dimitra is on stage singing “Two Days Only” and I’m underneath “pie”. I was looking at her and I’m like, ‘I’m going to script this,'” he pointed out.

And he continued: “And I go into the dressing room and I say, ‘Demeter, I’d like to write a story where the characters meet here while you’re singing “Two Days Only”. It was two days before I joined the army. I joined a soldier bitter, a mess, not because I joined a soldier though. I wrote the hero as soon as I joined as a soldier, then I started writing the script, which was two days before he joined as a soldier and two days before she got married.”
