The intense confrontation that emerged during the week between Grigoris Arnaoutoglou and Dimitris Ungarezos was addressed by Sissy Christidou on Saturday morning (25/4) through her show.
The two presenters came to blows when Grigoris Arnaoutoglou reacted to information that reached him, according to which Dimitris Ungarezos had expressed disparaging remarks about his 30-year career in the media.
The ANT1 presenter responded publicly, using harsh language, calling him a “poor man” and claiming that he was “vainly trying to make a success of radio”.
However, Dimitris Ungarezos, through his show on MyRadio, broadcast the controversial quote with what he had actually said, attempting to clarify the situation and put an end to the misunderstanding.
For her part, Sissy Christidou commented:
“I feel very grateful that Uggarezos was able to play his quote. Before we heard it, we didn’t know exactly what Gregory’s reaction was referring to. Dimitris is a man who, if he wants to say something, says it clearly and is not afraid. But in this particular case he said nothing of the sort. I think that when Gregory heard the quote, he would have realised that he may have exaggerated and possibly made a correction. Dimitris has made it clear that this is a man he admires and appreciates.”
