The 20-year-old man arrested for the murder of the 27-year-old son of the brigadier general of the National Police confessed his act to the officers of the “Greek FBI”, with tears in his eyes.

More specifically, initial reports say he said he was remorseful and referred to the act on the tension of the moment. “I didn’t mean to kill him. I regret my action. In the middle of the fight I hit him with the knife,” he apparently told police officers hours before he was brought to justice. The 20-year-old, who is serving his time in the Navy, said it was all for the eyes of the 19-year-old as the 27-year-old could not get over their break-up and was asking her to get back together.

Three other young men (an 18-year-old, a 19-year-old and an 18-year-old) have been arrested in the case, as they went to an Airbnb apartment immediately after the murder and tried with the 20-year-old to find a way to escape the police.

The murder knife was found

In fact, the knife used to kill the 27-year-old was found on the roof of the house where the 20-year-old was staying. He pointed out the spot himself.

A Greek FBI team went to the site today and, after a search, found the knife behind the solar panel.
