Shocking developments surrounding the murder of Eleftheria Giakoumakis in Crete, following the shocking revelation by her brother.
According to reports, he was found face-to-face with the alleged perpetrator inside a police station on Monday night, without knowing at the time of his involvement. They even reportedly exchanged a formal greeting while authorities were still searching for the woman.
“I met with the 40-year-old man at the police station on Monday night (04/20/04). He greeted me with the hand that had killed my sister,” the 43-year-old’s brother said, adding:
“Without me saying anything to him, he said ”I don’t know where Liberty is, I haven’t spoken to her for two months”
The 40-year-old, alleged perpetrator, allegedly attempted to conceal his actions from the outset, claiming on his arraignment that he did not know what had happened to the 43-year-old, whose whereabouts had been lost since Sunday.
The funeral of the unfortunate woman will be held at 1pm on Tuesday at St George’s Church, amidst a heavy atmosphere of grief.
