Irini Disiu was interviewed on camera on Weekend Live with Marji Lazarou and Dimitris Panopoulos on Saturday afternoon, as seen on the SKY program.

In fact, among other things, the beautiful singer spoke with tenderness about the personal relationship she had with her late colleague Vassilis Karras and the help she received from him.

Specifically, Irini Disiou noted to journalist Myrsini Kontou that “Vassilis is a very big chapter in my life, he taught me a lot. He was like a father to me. I miss him very much, I think of him very often and I sing his songs.”

“I won’t hide from you that he has helped me a lot. At one point I stopped working, I had an autoimmune problem and Vasilis was very much by my side. He supported me both psychologically and financially. And he is absolutely honoured by that.”

“The day he passed away, I woke up and I was very, very sad. I had a slump, I wasn’t feeling well and, when I opened my phone, I saw posts that ‘he was gone’ and I thought it was a lie.”

“I called his manager straight away and he told me he was gone, I couldn’t believe it,” Irini Disiu added, further, on SKY’s Saturday afternoon magazin.
