The 48-year-old Greek man and the 20-year-old foreign woman, who were arrested by police officers of the Department of Crime Detection and Investigation of Pylaia-Hortiatis for false declaration of family status between parent and child, were referred to an interrogator to be questioned.
According to reports, the 48-year-old man carries the status of a lawyer. The prosecutor’s office has prosecuted the arrested men for human trafficking, disturbing family order and obtaining a false certificate.
The complaint was filed by the medical staff of the clinic as their actions raised suspicions while the baby was being held at a neonatal clinic by order of a prosecutor. The two arrested persons remain in custody until they are charged.
